Auburn is located along I-80 and Highway 49, just as the rolling hills of Sierra Foothills begin to climb and the oaks and grasses begin to transition into pines and manzanita bushes. The southern edge of Auburn borders along the American River Canyon and the northern border runs along the edge of Nevada County and the Bear River.
The Auburn, Ca real estate market is comprised primarily of single-family homes, but also includes quite a few condos along with vacant land.
